About Sarah Weaver
Holistic Nurse and Functional Nurse Practitioner
Sarah Weaver started her career in national service, as an assistant team leader for AmeriCorps NCCC in Denver. This was followed by an internship at Koinonia Partners, the birthplace of Habitat for Humanity.
Sarah’s rich and diverse experience has taught her to recognize the healing power of allowing space for storytelling and connection with her patients while working as a birth and postpartum doula as an entrepreneur. She also founded the Blue Mountain Project, which has partnered with rural farming communities in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains to improve the health, education, and economy of their rural population for 20 years.
She has been serving her community as a nurse since 2005 in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including cardiac telemetry, medical surgical, and family practice.
In 2013, Sarah began to build a comprehensive inpatient holistic nursing program and design integrative medicine educational programming for healthcare professionals at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, IN. This program has been recognized nationally by the American Holistic Nurses’ Association.
In 2015, after graduating from University of Saint Francis’ Family Nurse Practitioner program, she began to work in a large non-profit integrative health clinic, and completed her post-graduate training and certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
“It has been my honor to help hundreds of clients reach their health goals and I can’t wait for the opportunity to partner with you!”
