Adrenal Recovery Tips:

*Avoid or minimize all sugar & caffeine intake (get off the blood sugar rollercoaster)

*Increase salt/electrolyte intake (especially with low blood pressure, light-headedness, etc.)

*Go to bed at the same time every night (preferably before 10 pm) and get 8 hours of sleep. The adrenals heal between 10p and 1a so sleeping during this time is helpful.

*Learn to say NO when you have reached your limit.

*Do something relaxing every day (warm bath, walk in the park, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, etc).

*Don't over-exercise. If you are fatigued after your workout, you might want to scale down.

*Eat a protein/fat-rich breakfast before 10 am. Sets your metabolic rate for the day and doesn't start the blood sugar rollercoaster. Do not intermittent fast until you are metabolically more stable and adrenals are healed. Consume fruit with a source of protein (nuts or nut butters). Eat more regularly to prevent hypoglycemia.

*Avoid alcohol, sugar, gluten, and dairy (toxic and inflammatory foods).

*Supplementation (adaptogenic herbs, B vitamins, NAD, magnesium, Vit C).

*MOST IMPORTANTLY, address underlying issues causing inflammation like toxicity & digestive issues or else the adrenals will just drain out again.
