About Kelly Bach, FMHC

Kelly masterfully weaves mindfulness, coaching, goal-setting, and education in a way that empowers her clients as they transition from aliment to alignment with their highest selves.

With her background in yoga, mindfulness, and eastern philosophy, Kelly provides you the unique opportunity to learn about the connection between your body and mind and how to interface with both to heal. Kelly believes in your body’s innate wisdom and its ability to heal and her sessions are a collaborative effort that weave together your knowledge and intuition of your body and her knowledge about the body and functional medicine to guide you into optimal health.

Her approach is research-based, trauma-informed, body positive, and client-centered. When you work with Kelly, you know she will meet you where you are at and will be at your side to support you through your challenges, to guide you through new discoveries, and to celebrate with you as you achieve your goals and change your life.

Kelly was called to educate and lead from an early age. She received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University while working at the campus recreational center as a group fitness instructor where her love for fitness and wellness blossomed. After graduating at the top of her class, with honors and summa cum laude, she spent three years teaching elementary school in Plano and then Austin Texas.

After moving to Austin, Kelly discovered a calling to guide people back home to themselves through somatic and mindfulness practices. After receiving her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Yoga, she decided to dedicate herself to wellness and yoga, a practice and lifestyle that supported her through many difficult life transitions.

She then went on to complete an additional 200-hour yoga teacher certification, and a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Practice Yoga culminating in 700 hours of teacher training. The gifts and lessons she received from yoga changed her life forever as she dedicated herself to the growth and betterment of herself and her community.

Kelly has spent the last four years working as a yoga and wellness instructor in Austin, Texas with specialties in mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork. Another life-altering event occurred when Kelly turned to functional medicine to heal the chronic disease she had been living with since 2012. After years of frustration with the western, symptom-focused approach to managing chronic disease, she began working and studying with Dr. David Morcom.

Functional medicine’s holistic approach allowed her to discover the root causes of her disease and allowed her body to heal in profound ways. This personal experience inspired her to immediately enroll in an intense, comprehensive Functional Medicine Health Coaching Program with the world-renowned Institute of Functional Medicine.

Kelly brings to you now a blend of two of her deepest passions: functional medicine and mindfulness. When you work with Kelly, you can expect loving guidance and research-based education. Her sessions are meaningful, client-centered, and skillfully crafted to help you set and achieve your goals as you transition from ailment to alignment with your healthiest, happiest self.

“It’s my mission to inspire people to remember why they are worth investing in. Your health and happiness are the most important things. You only have one life to live and you are so worthy of love, happiness, and freedom, and only you can give that to yourself. Change is challenging, and it requires us to be brave, to try new things, and to grow. That’s why I am here to support you every step of the way. You are the only one who can change your life, but you don’t have to do it alone.”
